DAVV introduces greater flexibility for undergraduate students to change majors

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has introduced greater academic flexibility for undergraduate students by allowing eligible students to change their major subject when entering the second year. The change applies to programmes including BA, BSc and BCom and is intended to give students more freedom to realign their academic path without changing their overall degree programme. This is distinct from IET-DAVV's recently introduced interdisciplinary Minor Degree option for engineering students. Source: The Times of India, 18 October 2026.
