IET-DAVV researchers develop modular robotics learning platform

Researchers Piyush Talreja and Shaurya Jain have developed a modular robotics learning platform at the DAVV Innovation Centre. The project combines a robot called Origin One with an Advanced Vision Shield, giving students a practical environment to work with robotics, sensors, electronics, programming and intelligent automation. The platform is designed for hands-on learning and could also support research into remote monitoring and applications in hazardous environments. Source: IET Times, 12 October 2026.
